I am constantly indicating to the models I work with that their face, facial expressions and particularly the way the pose their mouth, lips and eyes, will make or break a photo, no matter how good the lighting, the makeup or the styling.
Tami and I worked only once but we got wonderful images. This picture epitomizes what I just said about attitude and facial modeling. These were her clothes, and there was no hair and makeup available other than what she did herself. But I think it is one of my greatest images.
