——A New Star is Born——
This is from the latest shoot with Nuna Young. Nuna is a wonderful young lady from Pontiac, Michigan, who produces incredibly good images. I am looking forward to working with her again and again in the future.
On the technical side, this was shot with the 85mm f/1.2 lens wide open and with the strobe setting at the very minimum. When shooting with this lens wide open from medium distances and when my vantage point is a bit higher than the model (I am 6ft4in) I get this three-dimensional effect. The depth of field reminds me of my Large Format Camera (which I am about to sell) at f/8 or something.
